My Child Does Not Have Tech Access
Free Internet for Students
For students and teachers who don’t have Internet service, Spectrum is offering free Internet and Wifi access for 60 days.
Teachers and parent/guardians can call (855) 243-8892 and ask for the sales department (expect a long wait). Tell them you would like to set up new service and get the first 60 days free because you are a student or teacher. They are waiving all set up fees and you can cancel before the end of the 60 days to avoid future charges. See additional information about this offer.
In addition to getting free Internet access in your home, Spectrum and Cincinnati Bell have set up free Wifi hotspots throughout the city. See those locations at the links below:

Tips for Families
An important way to maintain a sense of routine is to keep consistent schedules for sleeping and schoolwork. These sample schedules can be personalized for what works best for your family.
- Set up a special place for your child to do schoolwork each day.
- Discuss with your child your expectations for learning and limit distractions.
- For example, limit TV or certain phone apps during the school day.
- Plan ways in which your child can exercise and get physical activity during larger learning blocks.
- Be creative and schedule a special activity day.
- For example, have your child design an amusement park or art gallery on a table.
